This styled shoot at Olio in Peabody, MA was all about color!! Olio is an incredible venue on Boston’s North Shore with industrial and modern vibes. While it was originally the Peabody Theater built in 1912, it is a relatively new wedding and event space. The space was purchased in 2018 and since then has been completely renovated into what it is today! Olio offers flexible spaces with beautiful textured concrete walls, gorgeous wood floors, and sky-high ceilings. It was made to be a venue where you can really make the space your own!

This shoot was created for wedding photographers to practice their skills in a low-stakes setting. Two real couples got to dress up among flowers, while the photographers were taught valuable skills and techniques on how to capture the important details of a wedding day.

Floral Design for Olio in Peabody, MA

I was honored and delighted to design the flowers for this event! I wanted to bring in as much color as possible. For the ceremony space, I designed a vibrant color-block arch that absolutely popped against Olio's gray walls! The primary bouquets I created for our bride models were just as bright and colorful, bringing all the separate colors together in one design. I did not skimp on flowers for the grooms creating both a classic boutonniere with a modern, lush floral lapel. For the tablescape, I included large sculptural compotes as centerpieces. I added cut fruit to bring a whimsical, modern vibe to the table.
